We would recommend using DAP Contact Cement (original formula). That works great. But the new neoprene based formula does not work at all. glue with LOCTITE "power grab" all - purpose. Installation to a clean smooth surface with overlapping edges, design is 24" x 24" and actual size is 24.25" x 24.25 " to accommodate the 1/4 inch overlapping edge. Also available in standard Grid Size, 23.75" x 23.75" to allow you to glue to existing grid ceiling tile. Material: Rigid PVC (Poly Vinyl Chloride. Thickness: 0.27 mm Ceiling Tiles Class A Fire Rated. It is really quick and easy. 1. Prepare the surface: Wipe off the ceiling / surface and make it smooth and even. Remove loose plaster, paint, wall paper etc. 2. Center your room or Draw an angle: draw straight lines in the corner (in width and length part) and make a 90o angle, for starting point of pasting. 3. Apply the adhesive any good quality Contact Cement to a clean dry surface. 4. Place the sheet in the required position (first sheet at the 90o point) and press firmly. Remove loose plaster, paint, wall paper etc. Draw a chalk line in the middle of the room (preferably through light fixture electrical box) 2.Apply any good quality rubber base adhesive (we recommend Contact Cement) on the back of the tile, and let it be dry till the solvent of adhesive evaporates. Please check the drying time on the pack of the adhesive, usually it is anywhere between 2-5 minutes. 3.Applying the adhesive on the ceiling also will improve bonding and strength. Approximately, 1 gallon of adhesive will be enough to cover 75 tiles or 300 square feet, if you apply on both, the tiles and the ceiling. 4.Place & Press: Place the sheet in the required position and press firmly but gently. Overlap the edges of the previous sheet and press firmly with fingertips. After completing first straight row work your way to the sides.
